PLAY THERAPY

Play therapy is an evidence-based therapeutic approach that helps children express emotions, resolve challenges, and develop coping skills — all through guided, developmentally appropriate play. It provides a safe, structured space for emotional healing and personal growth, using their most instinctive form of communication: play.

Benefits of Play Therapy

  • Emotional Expression & Regulation

Play gives children a safe space to express feelings they may not yet have words for — like fear, sadness, or anger. Through guided play, they learn to recognize, process, and regulate their emotions in healthier ways.

  • Social & Relational Development

In a therapeutic setting, children practice empathy, cooperation, problem-solving, and boundary-setting — all through play. These relational skills build confidence and strengthen their ability to navigate friendships and family dynamics.

  • Trauma & Behavioural Healing

Play therapy can gently surface and help resolve underlying causes of challenging behavior, anxiety, or trauma. Rather than confronting issues directly, children process experiences symbolically, which often leads to lasting emotional shifts.
